Project Overview
Cali Roots is the United State's top Reggae music festival brand featuring reggae, reggae rock, folk, hip hop acts and live painting on-stage. Their flagship event is in NorCal over Memorial Day every year but in 2021 they decided to partner with Pollen, an experience travel based company to bring their event to Cabo, San Lucas for a memorable weekend. On this project my team was tasked with creating a brand system that's elevates the Cali Root's brand while promoting this new festival destination.

Working on a team of 2 designers, one motion designer, and an illustrator, our team was tasked with creating a number of promotional materials for The 2021 Cali Roots festival. Our team worked with Cali Root's illustrator, Shaun Logan, to design the visual identity of the campaign and event. Having been inspired by the motifs of reggae music, we wanted to visually capture those common themes of tropical beaches and relaxation in our campaign. Our marketing strategy was to advertise this event on social with a number of deliverables being created across Instagram and our website.
